Description1-[5-Hydroxy-2,4-bis({[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy})phenyl]butan-1-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as phenolic glycosides. Among the sugar units found in natural glycosides are D-glucose, L-Fructose, and L rhamnose. 1-[5-hydroxy-2,4-bis({[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy})phenyl]butan-1-one is found in Lespedeza juncea. 1-[5-Hydroxy-2,4-bis({[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy})phenyl]butan-1-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
