Description | 3-{[(2S,3R,4R,5S,6R)-6-({[(2R,3S,4S,5R,6S)-5-{[(2E)-3-(4-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-6-({[3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoyl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)prop-2-enoyl]oxy}-3,4-dihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-7-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-5-{[(2S,3S,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1λ⁴-chromen-1-ylium belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthocyanidin-5-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing one anthocyanidin moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to a carbohydrate moiety at the C5-position. Malvidin 3-O-[6-O-[4-O-[4-O-(6-O-caffeoyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)-p-coumaroyl]-alpha-L-rhamnosyl]-beta-D-glucopyranoside]-5-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside is found in Petunia guarapuavensis, Petunia hybrid cultivar and Petunia hybrida cultivar. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-{[(2S,3R,4R,5S,6R)-6-({[(2R,3S,4S,5R,6S)-5-{[(2E)-3-(4-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-6-({[3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoyl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)prop-2-enoyl]oxy}-3,4-dihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-7-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-5-{[(2S,3S,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1λ⁴-chromen-1-ylium. |
