Description(1R,4R,5S,7S)-7-(hydroxymethyl)-1,8-dimethyl-4-(propan-2-yl)bicyclo[3.2.1]Octan-6-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as bicyclic monoterpenoids. These are monoterpenoids containing exactly 2 rings, which are fused to each other. Drechslerine C is found in Drechslera and Pyrenophora dematioidea. It was first documented in 2002 (PMID: 11908970). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,4R,5S,7S)-7-(hydroxymethyl)-1,8-dimethyl-4-(propan-2-yl)bicyclo[3.2.1]Octan-6-one.
