Description1-Chloro-2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxy-5,5'-dimethoxy-7,7'-dimethyl-9H,9'H,10H,10'H-[9,9'-bianthracene]-10,10'-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthracenes. These are organic compounds containing a system of three linearly fused benzene rings. Neobulgarone C/D is found in Neobulgaria pura and Neobulgaria pura HA A07-97. It was first documented in 2000 (PMID: 11132957). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1-chloro-2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxy-5,5'-dimethoxy-7,7'-dimethyl-9H,9'H,10H,10'H-[9,9'-bianthracene]-10,10'-dione.
