Description(4E,7S)-7-methoxy-N-(2-phenylethyl)tetradec-4-enimidic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as n-acyl amines. N-acyl amines are compounds containing a fatty acid moiety linked to an amine group through an ester linkage. Hermitamide A is found in Lyngbya majuscula. It was first documented in 2000 (PMID: 10924172). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4E,7S)-7-methoxy-N-(2-phenylethyl)tetradec-4-enimidic acid.
